报告摘要


Abstract: In this talk, I will first discuss the systematic resummation in the calculation of dijet angular correlation and dijet asymmetries in pp collisions. Then, using the above pp results as a baseline, we can further take the quark-gluon plasma medium effect into account and extract the corresponding medium transport coefficient at RHIC and the LHC. The dijet processes can serve as direct probes of QGP medium at NLO accuracy and play important roles at RHIC and the LHC. In the end, I will also discuss the further development of jet physics in heavy ion physics as well as dilepton productions as an interesting tool to study the QED properties of the QGP medium.




报告人简介:

   肖博文教授本科毕业于北京大学(2003),2008年在哥伦比亚大学获得物理学博士学位;随后从2008年至2012年相继在美国洛伦兹伯克利国家实验室、宾西法尼亚州立大学从事博士后研究工作。2012 受聘为华中师范大学教授。肖博文的研究兴趣集中于高能核物理领域 涵盖:色玻璃凝聚态物理、核子三维结构、Ads/CFT对应在强子物理领域的应用等。
