报告摘要：

We will discuss the soft gluon resummation (mainly Sudakov logarithms) effects in various hard scattering processes at colliders, including ep (eA), pp (pA), and AA collisions. These effects are important to extract the parton distributions such as transverse momentum dependent distributions and generalized parton distributions/Wigner distributions, and the medium property of the quark-gluon plasma in heavy ion collisions such as the jet quenching parameter qhat. Meanwhile, they provide a unique opportunity to study QCD dynamics.

报告人简介：

 袁烽，强相互作用物理QCD理论专家。2000年于北京大学获高能物理博士学位，2002-2004年先后在德国海德堡大学和美国马里兰大学做博士后研究，2004-2007年在布鲁克海文国家实验室任RBRC Fellow。2007年至今在美国劳伦斯伯克利实验室核物理部工作，2012年任资深研究员。
